Explore Nature Together
Wander the pond side and forest trails of Smith Mill Works in Asheville, NC, with Botanist, Herbalist, and Forager, Abby Artemisia. You'll learn how to identify wild edibles and herbs of Summer with basic Botany, along with how to sustainably harvest, process, and preserve them.
Abby will have her book, The Herbal Handbook for Homesteaders, and her Appalachian herbal wildcrafted products for sale, plus a chance to chat and create community with other plant lovers.
If you're not familiar with sliding scale, please choose the level you are able to pay, as this walk supports our nonprofit mission of herbal reparations and our free clinic work. And since it's happening on National Nonprofit Day, we especially appreciate this. Thank you!
We might even have some celebratory surprised for you :)
A couple work trade positions are available. Send an email to [email protected] for info.
