In this, the first of a 3 class fall series in Whittier, North Carolina, we'll learn how to prepare and preserve the harvest, from the garden and the wild. We’ll learn foraging, canning, fermenting, drying, cooking, and medicine making techniques, including wild mushrooms.
Learn from Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians tribal members along with Botanist & Herbalist, Abby Artemisia.
Lunch will be served with traditional Cherokee/wild foods, and some lodging options are available.
