ABOUT THE WANDER SCHOOL The WANDER School is now hiring for the position of Digital Marketing Intern!
This is a paid, part-time, educational opportunity to learn more about digital marketing and wild foods, foraging, herbalism, and more.
The WANDER School was founded by herbalist, botanist, author, and professional forager Abby Artemisia to serve communities by providing inspiration for a personal connection with nature and empowering individuals to improve their health through holistic means. In 2020, The WANDER School became a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization with the mission to connect underserved communities in need (such as Indigenous, Black, Queer, and Appalachian) to medicinal herbs.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lite graphic design and project management in Canva
Create & schedule posts in Creator Studio or other social media scheduling apps
Assist with creating newsletters, landing pages, and email automations
Assist with keeping notes + files organized in Google Drive
Assist with copy repurposing and copy editing for social media
Manage and engage with social media accounts
Applicant must have: High level of professionalism, must be responsible and reliable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to voice challenges, integrate constructive feedback, and willingness to work through conflict compassionately. Sense of responsibility and willingness to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Ability to work and be available for meetings during US Eastern time zones.
Experience with Weebly, social media management, or email management software is a bonus, but not required.
Position will begin with a 6-month paid internship, beginning at 5-10 hours a week, with lots of potential for growth! At the end of 6 months, if all goes well, we hope to offer a long-term position.

Hourly Wage: $12/hour Employment Classification: Part-time, independent contractor. Start Date: Immediately, upon mutual agreement of both parties.
